It takes a while unless you go to a flight school and just focus on training everyday. There's a ton of rules and regulations that you need to know as well as every aspect of the airplane and it's performance. I like it because it makes me use my brain and it's a great adrenaline rush!

Close encounter with a bird at FFE First Flight Airport during touch and goes. Wind 15 knots with a 45 degree crosswind. A business jet from being ferried from New Zealand made it into this airport right after I took off!
