That low end huge torque is what I love about my cruiser. Not much can hang from a dead stop launch but it's not a top end bike.

I always own a sport bike and a power cruiser, and the fastest cruiser i ever had was the M109r, and yet any 600cc sports bike would fly by me. Don't understand why try.. unless the cruiser has been heavily modified, or your are riding a V-max / Ducati Diavel then the outcome changes..

Cruisers or Harley's are comfort ability they lack the performance that our track bikes produce. I hate the look and seating position of the cruiser. And lack of performance for the street that I want. Maybe when I get to be an old man I will be fond of them

I grew up riding riceburners, love the pure adrenaline at high speeds.. now I ride a superglide, and can beat most sport bikes to 110mph. Its not the same rush but that torque at take off makes you hang on which feels good too, and its way more comfy to ride. no better bike for leaving everything behind from stoplight to stoplight.

It's all fun and games til the R6 hits 11k and gets in its rev range :)
So this is the actual video of the drag race between my 2007 Yamaha R6 and the other guys Yamaha Warrior. He definitely beat me off the line but my bike has more power and is lighter. I need to practice my launching for racing but at the same time i don't really like the idea of burning my clutch :/ Anywho this was a lot of fun and completely unexpected. THE R6 IS STILL UNDEFEATED.
