It's so cute when riders talk about their 600's as if they are fast- adorable

Me I personally have my mind set on sport touring bikes. You get the rush of a sports bike, but it's not a waste of cash if you just choose to chill on the bike instead.

Nice video. You seem like a super chill dude. I'm from Jersey and I'm going to get the motorcycle endorsement on my license sometime this summer once my schedule opens up, and for the longest time I was thinking that I'd start out on a sport bike, but I have this pipe dream of taking a couple months off from work and school to hop on a bike and explore and enjoy the country. I'm not so sure a sport bike is the best option for that, so I'm really considering going for a dual sport for my first bike now, just because of their versatility and reliability.
If anyone has a suggestion for what kind of bike fits the bill to carry me reliably on a countrywide tour, it'd be much appreciated. -
thats the hardest decision ever )';

I feel on some level....that road bikes don't exist. Well..more that they don't make sense. I mean how are you going to cross the white mountains?
-
I was watching and then was like wait...is that jog road haha nice to see a youtuber in my town!
-
If I could have it my way , I'd have a DRZ400 , an FZ-07 an old Saturn to save gas in my Jeep Grand Cherokee and Cummins 2500 mega cab .

I don't have a motorbike yet but it's a "no brainer" for me: Dual Sport all the way, if forced to pick one. As is obvious already, it's because of the sheer versatility of being able to go on and off-road! That's amazing!
Now for many others who've never been off-road before, even on a mountain bike, because they likely live in a big, crowded city, and on top of this they love the sound of a 600+cc street bike? I could understand their choice. I mean, there'll always be some places in a city to go off-roading a little, but not many.
In bad weather though, even in a city, I'd still rather ride the Dual Sport.
The two things that I prefer on the street bikes are how they look (badass), and their sound when they're 600cc and above. That's just vanity though, not utility. :P
I live in a rural area and currently plan on getting a Honda CRF250L as my very first motorbike. Gonna try to get it brand new. I will be on the road about 70% of the time, and off-road about 30% of the time. It's gonna be my main form of transportation. -
I'm starting out on a KLR650. I'm in a city with minimal to off road. I believe I made a good decision. As long as I'm okay on the highway! Note, I said "starting" out.

can't decide. sports just look cooler, but I would miss out on the few times I take it off road.

Aight so i live in Finland and i here i can have 125cc when im 16, we have winter for about 4-6 months and most of the riders keep the bike inside for the whole winter. So im considering on buying Yamaha WR 125x which might allow me for a bout a month of extra riding in winter when the weather is good or a Yamaha YZF-R 125. About wr i really like that i could just ride wherever i want and do fun stuff like wheelies and shit but then i would really like to have the yzf-r for that it really looks good and its nice to ride for a bit longer distance which i will be riding. My friend has a Honda Varandero and i don't think we would go on a dirt track or something when we ride. Also my budget is around 2000€ and i can have the yzf-r with that price easily from somewhere close to my town but the WR price is around 2500-3000€ if i don't travel for 3-4 hours and get the bike from further away. What do you think :D? which one would you buy?

Hey man! Was sent over by PalmBeachRider! Im a dashcam channel and y'all do motovlogs literally right near my house haha. I live on lantana and Jog. So nice to see familiar territory. Subbed!!

It's for that very reason that I will probably get another dual sport as my next bike.
-
I love the idea of being able to go anywhere. That's why I choose supermotos/dual sports. However, I plan to own both in the future.
-
I would like a supermoto some day, but my R6 will always be my favorite of the two.
-
Love my supermoto! Anticipating the moment I can get a second bike for sure! Want to be able to travel with my next bike so I will probably go the same route you did with the FZ6 or CBR650F. Not sure I want to commit to a full super sport so these other bikes are the best in between IMO.
-
I would love to get a supermoto but they cost the same or even more than a lot of used sport bikes.

Thought I would share my personal experiences with both styles of motorcycle. Verdict is easy: BOTH! But if you have to choose... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com/chiefjayvlogs INSTAGRAM: @ChiefJayVlogs
