It is sad to lose the boat but thank the Lord the crew is safe. I know a feeling similar to that. I have gone over the Columbia River Bar and when you see a 25 foot wave crash over your bow it is terrifying no matter how capable the vessel.

This was on tv on a fishing show
I see the frenzy -
Backing plates on all cleats. I use thick starboard.
-
I know that's a high water alarm but what brand is it? Can't find one that makes that exact tone and I've been looking for one for my boat
-
Heart breaking. My dad had 2 boats sink
-
several hundred thousand is an understatement. i beleive thats a Jarret Bay no? $$$''

Fished on that boat to so sad...

Just saw that clip last week for the preview of the upcoming Wicked Tune OBX. That's sucks.
-
very sorry for the boat. and hope no one got injured, but was that the "fishing francie" & the "hot tuna" in the background?
-
How did this happen
-
Lmao rip boaty
-
I'm not sure what the cause was. I have heard a number of different things and I wasn't on the boat so it's not for me to say.

Yea, that knot was wasted.
-
glass over wood makes for some of the strongest boats ever built. apparently this boat hit something and the rudders were ripped out, causing the loss.
-
Wood Hull glassed over, Happens all to much with these Carolina hulls.
-
last I heard she, they put airbags under her and towed her in. Still a total loss
-
Can you still see her or is she gone?
-
