wanted to watch this but playing constant music while talking is very annoying.

Rick, I've watched a gazillion of your videos and this just might be my very favorite!
We're heading to CRUFTS in March and just might try to follow this video - by train/bus only - as much as we can for several days afterwards.
Suggestions?

This guy seems to respect the local culture and samples proper English ale and beer. The guy on wolter's world I generally quite like but I found it disrespectful when he spread the fallacy about warm beer and how the beer isn't good here.

You are right about the English thinking of Victory as a cathedral more than a ship. Nelson was a true hero to the country, the fact he stood on the deck in full uniform in the heat of battle and did his duty, then happily died safe in that knowledge fills all Englishmen (then and since)with pride.

From the white cliffs of Dover to Land's End, we ponder Roman, Norman, and Nazi invasions. After exploring Admiral Nelson's flagship in Portsmouth, we chase wild ponies across the moors and discover an ancient stone circle in Dartmoor. For refreshment, it's cream tea and Cornish pasties in Cornwall. © 2000 Rick Steves' Europe
