RESCUE MISSION ON SOUTH CHINA SEA 1986 ----------------------------------------- 1986: Boat People SOS Committee of San Diego and Dinh Xuan Thai Television of Southern California produced this documentary about a 38-day rescuing mission of Vietnamese Boat People in the South China Sea. Spring 1987: While doing research of sound effects for an animation project about my personal boat journey at University of Nebraska at Kearney, I found this VHS video tape from a Vietnamese American friend. March 20, 2010: I converted this old VHS tape into digital video for my "BOAT JOURNEY 1979" album in Facebook.
