Two thumbs up!
-
very good, congrats

Awesome, just viewing it now though, good job...
-
love it add a sail
-
Is the solar panels regular or marine? great job.
-
was it me or did that blonde chick have some very hairy armpits? not bad looking but the fuzz is gotta go!
-
Would like to see the interior of the boat as well.
-
d you add more powerful motors and a few panels as well as a few more batteries to make it a little more fast and able to cruise at night? Maybe a couple wind turbines things to power the lights for night cruising and to help charge the batteries as well as phones and such.. Is the boats design for sale and if so where can we find it. I am hoping to have something like this to travel from Texas to Florida and out into the Caribbean. I love this design, You are a truly crafty fella.

Very interesting - but it could have had a sail also. That would have made it even better. Why does that girl with a head scarf in the dress have a beard! Nice to see a little cross-dressing! I have a few gender issues myself.

Earth to Ra:
Where are you now? Don't try and go through Hell's Gate in this boat.
Great concept but how about a sail and auxiliary motor if there is any trouble? -

Great design. I love that it's green on those Torqeedo motors are amazing!
-
Awesome ! you have much more room for solar panels, add some! and a simple sail. It looks good , I think that's important for marketing.
-
One more thing: I put a DO/AC sticker on the Captain's seat on the boat.
-
I had the Pleasure to work on the boat doing repairs, riding on it behind Ocean City NJ and operating Ham Radio from the Ra. while it was in South Jersey last week on it's return trip to Florida. Very Cool Boat. I love to do ARRL Ham Radio Field day from the boat HF (Shortwave and VHF/UHF).
-
So what do you do during cloudy days?
-
Really nice design and implementation! I really like the slim design of the outriggers.

1:48 ... and movie became more interesting ;] Also great idea for multihull solar powering!

Awesome boat

An experimental solar powered boat named "RA", is traveling the Inter Coastal Waterway, attempting to navigate America's Great Loop from Florida to Canada then back down the Mississippi River to the Gulf of Mexico. 15 solar panels supply the power to two 9.5 hp motors that propel the "RA". The "RA" made a brief stop in Sea Isle City NJ during it's journey.
