15 years old, got in to snowboarding last winter where I went skiing with some friends and I thought, fuck it, let's not bring skis. So I gambled and brought my 70$ second hand snowboard to a one week trip. I couldnt ride, and there was no return, but not to worry, I fell for it from the moment I started (literally). Sooo basically, I'm a noob. To the point: Whats the deal with the holes in the back of some of themk? I can see how the others would affect the riding, but I can only see how holes would slow you down..? Explanation please..

I was skating and surfing in Lalaland, and the sheeeihs sucker punched my jaw. It's a pretty smog ass place.
