Hey, really cool. I purchased a boat that is almost a corbon copy last year. Mine was built in 1948 and is a few inches shorter. Yours looks great. I hope that when I am done mine it looksas good.

Just turn down your speaker...problem solved! I think it works well when there is stills in the video. Thanks for taking time to watch my video! :-)

Shame that every utube video is spoilt by bloody music. What's wrong with a commentary? Or silence while we watch and think?
-
I used a sanding pad, it has six layers of sand paper on the disk...this pads things so not to dig in too much. Also in a fine 150 grit, that helped as well. Thanks for the comment and for watching my video! :)

Really nice boat, what were you using on the angle grinder?
-
Thank you for the comment! When I look at the boats lines, and run my hand along the wooden gunwales I like to think she smiles too!!
-
Beautiful boat with a little hard work. Great job!

Thanks for the much appreciated comment! We do enjoy our boat. :-) I looked at a 1964 28' Christ Craft Constellation a few years back. She was lovely, and her hull was planked in wood. Just to far from home with no trailer! Do you have a video of your Chris Craft?
-
I'd love to find a boat like that in about an 8 to 10' length to use as my dinghy for my 36' 1960 Chris Craft Constellation that I'm restoring. Terrific video and boat! I hope you and your family get a lot of good use out of it! Very nice job!!

Nice to hear of your restore...a great experience for the two of you!

Best of luck on your project!

No, not a lot of rot...i did have to replace some Mahogany on the Gunwales. When the Cedar planks dried they were fine so that was lucky!
