16's are primarily a 2 person boat. I had one and if the conditions were perfect I could right it solo without a pole or bag. (I weigh just shy of 200 lbs). Got in trouble with it a couple of times as I would always dump it and decided to downsize as I'm always out solo. Too much boat for solo especially in big wind. 15 knots and it starts going into survival mode single handed. Mast is 8 feet taller than the Wave and significantly over powered. I wish we had the dragoon here in the states.

Hi there, glad you enjoyed the vid. I would suggest the Hobie 15 as a great entry level cat. Very easy to sail and versatile enough to sail with 1, 2 or 3 people.

very nice vid, iam wanting to get into sailing, ive tried a hobie cat single sail, it was fun and easy to sail, what is a good entry level catamaran, first sailer friendly?
-
He needs way more jib tension
-
@joeyenglez well, quite sadly there is not a chance that i will be able to do that in the near future, but i loved the vid

im considering getting a catamaran 16', and id' be sailing on my own a majority of the time. my biggest question is how would i hold/control the tiller, jib sheet/sail, and the main sheet/sail?

Sailing the Hobie Dragoon @ Wildwind, Vassiliki. Wind gusting 30 knots+ very entertaining sailing. Had a GPS on board, disapointingly only managed 18knots.
