All cats are very over priced for plastic made in Vietnam.

What a boat!!!

Worried that the companion way is large enough that a breaking wave would flood the cabin. How high upwind can it point? Without dagger-boards I worry about cat not pointing high enough for open water cruising or racing but I have no first hand experience.

if you do a AU dollar conversion to other dollars- you will see it is actually less then 520,000 usd... Some really great ones two years old listed on there web site.. when I did the conversion it was around 300.000 usd... GREAT boat compared to other cats... the ausies did a GREAT job- hope they keep this smaller family cat versus the larger charter lagoons, etc... There web site has great pod casts of sailing adventures.. Makes me want to circumnavigate OZ great Cat..

Wow, I mean you guys really thought long and hard about what makes a good sailing cat. I made a few cats, too, but my budget was a bit smaller than yours - $100 max on my first one, $2000 on my last. Dare I ask the price of this beauty? Awesome video, thanks.
