Burning is worst
-
@RedShadow238 wrong, that'd be burning to death.
-
"my hopes and prayers go out to their family" " did he die? " "fake and gay" owned

@hoosierhiver Swimming under normal condition is different to swimming out of a capsized ship in the windy and cold waters, not to mention the strength of the waves.
-
I'm always amazed how many people in the world can not swim.
-
@RedShadow238 I don't know, I guess we differ. I don't doubt the intensity of the trauma, because you know exactly -when- the lights are going off. Not every death is as punctual as drowning. That can be scary, but I don't think that applies as much for those that want to die, as opposed to those who would prefer to live.

@piip4 It is the psychological trauma, there is no real pain suffered from drowning. What makes it so bad, unlike being shot or stabbed, in the last secounds of consciousness the victem feels absolute terror and panic, which in many ways, can be worse than pain itself.

@RedShadow238 Apart from the immense psychological trauma of drowning, It's not very painful. I'd prefer that over many other common ways people end themselves, if I had to that is. On a side note, a classmate of mine died by drowning. Walking home from a party drunk, thinking the ice is thick enough. It was a great shortcut, or it could have been.

So sad, drowning has to be one of the worst ways to exit.

My hopes & prayers are with the families of the missing men. I hope they are all will be found safe.

11 people are missing after a barge capsized in rough seas off China's north-east coast. This is CCTV footage of the rescue efforts. A helicopter was sent to the scene and found three survivors who'd scrambled onto the hull of the overturned ship. Search teams are continuing to look for the missing sailors.
