saw a clip of your video on CNN tonight regarding the MH 370 tragedy. Figured at some point they would seek out sailors who know the Southern Ocean! Praying they get some answers soon for the families sakes.

Just another madness..
Seriously. -
absolutely breath taking!
-
i wish somebody could have captured from outside the boat

This is the best big-sea sailing footage anywhere on the internet.
I go sailing and think I have been out in some half decent sea's, then when I get back and review the footage I filmed, it looks almost flat calm. The seas here look huge on video which means in the flesh they must have been absolutely mammoth. Great job. -
Where do you go to get your heart racing after THAT!!???!
-
you'd never catch me in a multihull in the southern ocean.
-
Are you using a sea anchor?
-
Whoow....guys....you are truly my heroes.
Unbelievable how you battle those waves that came after you like hunting demons -
Leopard cats are strong for this situations?
-
Great stuff. Though I haven't been in anything worse than 50 knots this brought back some memories.
Suggest placing some sponge/foam rubber over the video microphone to improve sound quality. Might hear the waves splashing around then. -
You guys are awesome
-
6 meter waves?
-
at what point does one take in their laundry?
-
Great video showing the might of the southern ocean. However, I would be very nervous bringing a boat with huge sliding glass panel doors that might be destroyed if the stern was pooped by a large following wave. I noticed the doors at 0:05.

I would be scared stiff of broaching. Once a cat is over it can never come right. What help would you get in the southern seas.
-
look very scary
-
1:18 I thought you were going to be dead lol

Great video. Been there, done that...same cat, same office, different route (to Turkey) but we still got into hurricane Xynthia along the way in the northern Atlantic. Watching this made me feel a bit like being there all over, and I loved it! Salute!
