Very charming older man ..living and traveling abroad, these sort of gentlemen are the best people to meet...one learns so much.

Turning on the motor to avoid tacking is lame. No real sailor would ever do that.
-
Can you sail it singlehanded?
-
Nice video. How do you live on a boat in the Caribbean, I mean, when you sail into port somewhere ( say,, Dominia) are you charged per day to dock, how does that work?

6:31 It's acquavite, not acqua-vita. Acquavite is generical latin name used for distilled alchool from vegetals; while very similar to "water of life" (acqua-vita) is rather related to "water from grapevine": for "vite" is latin (vitis) for grapevine.

Sailing the Caribbean http://www.overlander.tv I've been lucky enough to join a yacht on it's way to Cuba. Truls, a retired Norwegian pilot was looking for crew to join him on his 44 ft Beneteau called Scipionne. In this video I show you around the yacht, which comfortably sleeps six and show you our first day of sailing from Old Belize (Cucumber Beach) to Caye Caulker.
