I spotted the first as Reverie 4 as we had Reverie 3 (A533) 2 years earlier. They were from Eastwood Whelpton at Upton & not Chumley & Hawke. Lovely little yachts & we still go to Eastwood Whelpton's which has just changed hands as Annie has retired. We'll be there again on High Seas in June for my 35th time on the Broads—always sailing!

This film was taken shortly before I was born but I remember the boats mentioned being available for hire by Blakes. I never went on them but I did have quite a few of the Lady yachts from Herbert Woods in the 70s and 80s. such a shame they are no longer there. In fact where are all the yachts, it used to be so much more fun. Potter Heigham area is now so sparse, the old boat sheds have mostly gone except some in Herbert Woods yard. I was there at the beginning of August this year and found it slightly depressing. Bring back the fun !

8mm amateur cine footage of the Norfolk Broads and Norwich from 1967. This appears to possibly be two separate sailing holidays as two yachts feature. The first is Reverie 4 which was hired from Eastwood Whelpton at Upton, the second was Rapier from the Norfolk Broads Yachting Company (previously and latterly called Scamp). The people featured are unknown, but there is some nice footage of the Norfolk Broads plus a small section filmed at Norwich at the end of the film. www.broadlandmemories.co.uk
