Great videos, however, that's not winter in Canada... that's winter in BC, which is an exception to the rule. ;)

those waters must be good fishing for Salmon and Halibut. It has the look of San Juan islands in Washington State

I have been going thru the motions on getting out on a cruising life for the past 5 years. Thanks for sharing your story with us, I will be using it as a further "nudge" to get myself out there soon!

Hi, Mike!! Thanks for the videos. I live in the Caribbean and is nice to see what northern sailors have to show. As you can imagine I am used to the tropical water and will like to do some higher latitudes sailing and you videos are very inviting. Well I guess some day I will go to your beautiful country for a season.

Sailing- "Off the Starboard Hull" - Ep 5 - Russell Island - sailing in a Lagoon 400 S2 catamaran. Off the Starboard Hull is a series of videos about a Canadian couple from Vancouver Island who is planning to sail around the world in August of 2016. We want to take our time, so the trip will last about 10 years with a flexible itinerary. Before we untie the lines, we will be busy exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest and outfitting out Lagoon 400S2, Muskoka, for our offshore adventures. Please feel free to ask any questions or give us advise in our comment section. We will try our best to answer each and every comment. Also, like or subscribe - we look forward to sharing all the excitement with you! Laurie and Scott
