The star of all yacht sailing videos is seldom mentioned or acknowledged.

Thank you. Just watched it again myself. Sat at anchor on my new boat atm. Was a good trip that one, with hindsight.

Jeff, a great video. Now I have to go back and watch some of your other ones. I was not aware you had finished your previous adventure. thanks for showing the wind speed/direction and speed through the water, it gives an indication of what you were going through. cheers - John.
Sailing my small boat to its new home and owner in Dublin in November 2011. See more about this boat on my blog at http://www.yacht-forum.co.uk Vessel is a 1989 Westerly Tempest (30.7 feet LOA) with the classic layout (one double aft cabin, and a v-berth). It has a Beta Marine BD722 22 HP diesel engine, but primary propulsion is sail. Sails are a 130% jib and a main with 3 reefing points. My wife, dog and I had lived aboard this boat for approximately 3 years while also making a circumnavigation of the UK. We sold the boat to a friend in Ireland and this is the delivery trip. At the time of this video we had taken ownership of a Nauticat 38 which was to become our home for three years - for myself, my wife, my dog and my first child. See the link above for a detailed blog of our life aboard the Nauticat, at anchor, in the South West of the UK.
