LOL, how much did you pay for her, or did someone pay you to take her?
-
You know it's bad, when after tearing massively in to the boat, you stop and have to say, "looking better". At least, that's what i'd say...
-
I see music: Kevin Macleod in the description, may I please have the title of the intro song.
-
I owned that boat for bout 8 years. brought it from Dallas and sold when I got a 40'. did you buy it from Patty?
anyways please friend me on face book. Harry Hitt here in Galveston. would like to know how old Tsue Kwan is doing. -
Is there a webpage were people can buy boats for cheap in the USA, Florida area?
-
Big job, good luck. So many head sails left on the furler have flogged themselves to death because the furling line wasn't properly secured..... hey, you probably needed a new jib anyway ;)
-
Hell ya.......... lets do it ! 1968

Good times..
-
Thanks for sharing this. I'm anxious to see how it all turns out.
-
Looks like lots of hard work. Looks great so far though.
-
Get a pocket knife with a fid. Get a fanny pack with a small collection of essential tools. 4" vice grips, a crescent wrench, a couple of screw drivers & things like that.
-
Wow the only way I'd take this is if it was free and then I'd still probably pass on it.
-
I hope this boat was free..
Even then, it is better to save your money for a while and purchase one in the best condition possible. This will cost so much in time more than anything else...
But hey, follow your heart...best wishes. -
I see a lot of boats for sale on Craig's List where the owner claims "the hard work is already done, she is all gutted, now you can rebuild her the way you want". I smile but do not call.
I rebuilt an interior once, and it was a very satisfying experience, so satisfying that once was enough for a lifetime. -
We have restored our first yacht. Your video has provided us with loads of tips for our next project- thanks!!! Check our video out- thanks :)
