I like your change, and the Tohatsu motor and the Yamaha brands are the most common and easiest to get repaired in remote places. ( particularly the old 2-strokes, that are still available commercially, they are much simpler mechanically if a little smokey and weigh about half as much for the same HP). So when you really get out there you will be better off, and don't get an electric start! One more thing to fix sooner or later the four stroke engine you have will be enough trouble down the road as it is. Cheers Warren, loving you videos, just found your channel when you hit the water!

Wise choice.

Hope you know you can eat barracuda. Filets or steaks.

Try sitting on the opposite side and driving. I think you might find it easier.

Total downgrade =(
Our Sailboat came with this fancy dinghy but it wasn't a good fit for "About the World" cruising, so we ditched it for something better. Join our crew on Patreon: http://bit.ly/patreon-wynn Get all the Details on our site here: http://www.gonewiththewynns.com/dinghy-swap-ab-highfield From an AB all electric center console fiberglass dinghy that weighed about 500lbs to a Highfield aluminum that weighs about 200lbs. Let's just say our catamaran is breathing a sigh of relief to get that weight off her backside. It wasn't an easy decision to get rid of our plush AB dinghy but for around the world cruising something fancy and cush doesn't really make sense. The last thing we want in a foreign country is to have the nicest dinghy at the dock. There are a ton of other reasons we swapped from our AB to the new Highfield and we've listed those on our website. Overall we've been living with our new dinghy for about a month and every time we offload it from the boat and drag it on the beach we're extremely happy we switched. Thanks for joining us as we begin our sailing adventures. See ya on the water! Jason, Nikki, Cleo and Singa Enjoy our vids? Want to give us a virtual high-five? Treat us to an espresso?
