15 мм granite?

Great demonstration, Sal! Could you advice on choosing the right scoring wheel size for cutting ceramic tiles (up to 12"x12")? I've been using the one for porcelain tiles and it is getting tired :) Thank you!

Sal I'm surprised you don't use sigma ! , in UK rubies is vertually never used anymore because of there substandard engineering quality in comparison to raimondi sigma

love my old Rubi ts 50 cutter outlast the case lolol

Are you cutting porcelain or ceramic ?
-
hey Sal , just on a different topic I haven't seen a follow up video on the proknee pads as a fellow tile setter I would like your professional opinion on them thanks!

Can you cut half inch travertine with a snap cutter?
-
hello Sal, what cutter do you recommand for cutting 120x20cm scottish oak plank tiles from Emil ceramica ? I was told that porcelaine could not be cut with that kind of roller cutter and that only diamond discs on angle grinder could be used.
-
I assume the same technique works for lateral cross-cuts on these big tiles too? (To shorten the 36" down to 24 for example.) I'm about to start a project with 36" tiles so very timely finding this - thanks.

You want to try a sigma tile cutter...best cutter on the planet by far!! Never liked the rubis the bars flex when clamping hard porcelain a fatal flaw if you ask me

A poor man's TX. The Rubi Speed range is for the DIY market. You're a Pro, spend the money!

I have the speed 72 (might actually be 62). It's kind of a hit or miss. I've worked with some porcelain tile that feels "softer" and the Rubi cuts it like butter. And I've worked with some porcelain tile that feels "hard" and it just splinters off and cracks when I try to use the Rubi. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Were you cutting porcelain tile?
Available at http://www.contractorsdirect.com/RUBI-SPEED-Tile-Cutters More cutters http://amzn.to/2kEagfY Demonstration of my new Rubi Speed 92 score and snap tile cutter, it will cut tiles up to 36" and is very capable cutter at a very affordable price for this size of cutter. In this video I demonstrate how I cut small slivers of tile with very little effort. Professional quality tools will perform much better and move the job along, the ability to cut long tiles by just scoring and snapping will save a lot of time and effort.
