I had this bike its trash I say a 1 and a half star the suspension rusted for some weird reason the first month I had it the seat did the same but the brakes are decent they help if your going 20 mph they will stop you in around 10 to 20 feet I used it on creeper trail and the suspension never worked my hands blisters from all the shock so I definitely do not recomend

I had this bike too, but those weird plastic gears that feed the chain broke and it doesn't work no more. Probably will just buy a new bike as this is just costing too much.

Do you use more tire wear when you consistently ride on 4th gear

still doing good?

Got mine for more than 3 months. Ride it on the street and carry groceries with it every other day. So far, it is holding up well. Paid 79.97 for it. Do not want an expensive bike because I already have had 3 bikes stolen and they were cheap ones. This is despite special locks I made myself, U - bolts, etc. If they can not cut through it they just damage it out of spite. Nobody seems to want to steal this baby and that suits me just fine.

they are a waste of money trust me you will end up putting more money repairing it they are honest junk

Had one of those for a year but a month ago invested in a Raleigh from the local bike shop. Ten times better. Had fun with the road master though for about four months and then it was steadily downhill from there. Stuff started breaking piece by piece and I got sick of working on it.

This reply is for anyone interested but in particular to Michael Holm.
I have this exact bike. $80 at Walmart. I also bought an 80cc engine(60cc by US standards) that I planned to put on my Roadmaster. After further research and advice, it all came down to this. Walmart bikes are cheaply made. A force of a engine on a Walmart bike would destroy the spokes, which are galvanized, in no time. These cheap bikes aren't made for speed. So my budget to get a better bike, mountain of course, was about $200. But I didn't find anything at that price that had good reviews or had the specs I was looking for. To get an engine on a bike the bike needs to have gears in order for you to help it start up. The bike can't really have disc brakes due to the inconvenience of the rear disc brake being in the way when trying to insert the chain holder on the rear wheel. Long story short, I ended up buying a Trek 820 for $390 at a local bike shop. It had gears, v-brakes, and tires perfect for the road. My suggestion to you is spend that extra dollar. Or dollars lol. It makes perfect sense to pay for something that is much sturdier. If you go on and get a cheap bike, chances are you could get hurt. Just saying. My engine should arrive in a couple of days. If I remember, I'll come back here to let you all know how the installation went and how the bike runs. The grand total was $390 bike, $160 engine(ebay, UMOTO) so $550 total. Im looking at about 30+mph with a much more reliable bicycle when compared to a Walmart bike. Not shunning the Roadmaster, because I had mine for 1 year now. Its been great. I used it to go everywhere and mostly to work. The bike is still in great condition but the reason Im getting a whole other bike is that I would need to change the rims of the road master to double walled rims. I can't find any for cheap and the cheapest are $150 a rim. Thats $300 alone. Thats enough for a new bike. So thats why I bought another one. Hope my situation can help anyone undecided or in the same shoes as me :) -
"nice and soft on my touchi" lol that was funny. I was looking at this bike so i can ride to practice. Its cheap and good. I love it.

I'm going too buy this same bike in a box and buy a gas motor kit for bicycles too put on it

I like the look of this cheap bike. I currently have a used Mongoose that I've ridden for 2 years and it's going bad quick, I need to replace literally everything. I don't need the top notch trail rider, I'm only riding on suburban streets to stay in shape. Really thinking about just getting this and using some of my Mongoose parts like the tires, seat post and handlebars.

I have the exact same bike and everything, I've had it for about 6 months now.. something to watch out for is after awhile the left pedal may come loose. It's fallen off on me while I was riding last night and uhh. I just put it back on hit it with a hammer to secure it, but it's still riding smooth. The pedal comes off every now and again but, I need to but a better secure fit on it somehow. Any ideas what I can do?
