NICE, thanks for the GREAT tip. I just purchased my "Ridgid Roofing Cutter" at The Home Depot for one penny due to discontinued item scan at the register. I thought I was going to have to do more hacking in order to put it to other uses. Didn't know it would be this simple. Thank you much for posting this.

This pneumatic Ridgid shingle cutter doubles as a sawzall. Home Depot sells the Ridgid brand sawzall blades in a 3 pack for $11. This is the only option provided. Walk over to the hacksaw blades, grab a couple 3 packs for $5 each ($10 total). Watch my video. Get 12 blades for the cost of 3. Same thickness. Same results. It's up to u what quality blades you buy but either way you're saving money. Remember to cut the blades with a cutoff wheel or a grinder. Wire cutters won't do the job. Thanks!!!
