LESSON: avoid work related to labor.

thank you sir
-
thank you for this upload

Anyone watching this before using a grinder probably never went to work a shift and decided mc Donald's isn't that bad
-
Wire wheels are the worst......but exploding cutting disc's and 10,000rpm grinders are serious tools for serious people.....safety glasses and gloves are a must...........plus a face shield.....especially with wire wheels.......nasty!
-
Never use a grinder to cut a tire. That's a tip you can take to the bank.
-
something tells im no using the grinder in welding class
-
You can wear tight mechanic gloves
-
I accidentally cut the tip of my finger today using a handheld grinder with a cutting wheel. Luckily, I was wearing mechanix gloves so it wasn't too deep. The cut looks pretty gnarly though!

Am I the only one watching this with the trigger finger on the scrolling feature of the mouse?
-
I learnt two things from this video.
1. Never use a power tool of any kind.
2. I'm still not 100% certain, but I think this video is only a preview... -
is this a preview only?

Is this a preview?

you dont even know what excited means till ya have an angle grinder chase ya across the floor or catch in your shirt/apron and start heading for your face
-

Fuck man. This made me really scared. I'm very responsible and cautious, I know my hand tool and power tools, but I never owned a grinder. I have used several times, for minor things. But I have a bad feeling about them. What makes me hesitant are those exploding discs, because it seems to be something you can't know when it's going to happen.

seems like a good safety video, i just wonder how many people watched this AFTER getting hit in the face with debris. ( btw, im one of them )
-
wow I didn't know there was so much dangerous machines . thanks for safety tips
-
The most dangerous is a surface grinder used to grind soft tungsten carbide punch and heading tool blanks by sliding them under the wheel in a graphite sliding block along the chuck. Short stubby parts snag on the wheel and explode on the fingers. Did that shit in 1989-90 and quit the day I had nothing but exploders to grind. Never again.

http://www.safetyvideos.com/Grinder_And_Abrasive_Wheel_Safety_Training_Video_p/19015a.htm If you need a grinder and abrasive wheel video that will really impact your employees then this is the one. The video shows what type of accidents can occur when proper safety measures aren't taken with grinders and abrasive wheels. This video isn't for the faint of heart but will certainly resonate with those who watch it.
