Just purchased this machine from Sign Warehouse and cannot figure out how to change the pressure? Any help would be appreciated!

how did you get the plotter to stop after the plot? mines always go back to the original spot (bottom right)
-
OK, this is all I have to say, The 2 most important settings there is for a plotter are ..... Force and Offset.
-
How did you get your plotter to cut all the way to the edge? My needs like 3 inches worth of vinyl to start cutting.

i have a graphtec ce6000 and im totally lost on how to use it. There really isnt any info out there as far as how the software works how far rollers need to be or even how to size the images you want. im not really computer savvy so this makes it even harder. ive currently thought about giving up and selling it to purchase screen printing equipment. can anyone help me??? I want to make decals, stencils and tshirts. thanks

Hi, I bought this plotter a little while back and have been using it without problems. Something that I haven't been able to work out or find information on (info is hard to find on this machine) is how I can cut through smaller pieces of vinyl, so something that is 100mm or 300mm wide, not 610mm. An old Roland I used to use did this very easily, but I'm finding it hard to navigate the menus on this machine to find out.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. -
Just out of curiosity, what software are you using? I have been looking at the Vinyl Express Qe-6000 as well as this Graphtec. As I understand it, the VE is a rebranded Graphtec, probably without all the bells and whistles. I have to check on Mac Os compatibility though, As it stands they say Windows OS only, but it say Mac users should call.... We will see what they have to say. The price difference is enough to make doing the research worth while. It comes with the same 2 year warranty.

I've seen the same things on my SC Cutter while cutting very slow on light and heavy pressure. We are planning on purchasing the Graphtec and it does seem like there is a huge difference in noise as well as quality of course. Another case of you get what you pay for I guess.
-
WOW! It is really quite compared to SC Cutter I have from USCutter. I have been looking at this cutter ever since it was introduced. I currently have a slight wavy line when cutting diagonals.... I always assumed it was due to the cutter itself. Is that an issue with the Graphtecs?

Thanks for the video! Helped me decide on final purchase, LOVE my graphtec 6000-60! Having small problem with a few small fonts... any suggestions where I could find help or info, I am kinda a newbie to this. (Background- already slowed speed down, oracal vinyl, 1 1/2 in letters... and fonts like elephant and curlz are lifting/picking like crazy!!!)

We just got a quote for one of these in our shop (the 120) is their anyway to run this off the network. I know the FC series has optional ethernet, but can this at all be plugged into a router with a USB port to be run from multiple machines, or at least machines in a different room? Thank for the advice and nice little video.

Hi again do you know what the best settings are for the 1220 size I've got it cutting but need some tweaking still I have not really changes any of the settings as such but instead lowered the blade to make it cut is this the best thing to do? If not my advice is appreciated also every now and again there is a slight bit of vinyl that raises once its cut an area do you know why? Also do you use the Graphtec program I think it's brilliant do you know how to keep the weeding boarder on? Ta

MARAVILLOSO FUNCIONAMIENTO....
New for 2013, the Graphtec CE6000-60. I made this video as there were no others to view on YouTube when I went to purchase the cutter. Hopefully this video will give potential buyers, looking to purchase one of these, an insight into the low-noise, high-speed and what is displayed on the LCD screen. Cutting speed was 20cm/sec - not the fastest, not the slowest. The cuts are superb and accurate - everything you could want for your stickers and decals. I purchased this CE6000-60 from http://www.edwardmathias.com/ I don't use the Graphtec blade or holder, I use a Smart Knife, also available from the above link. Remember - buy a cutter from a reliable and helpful seller. You might find the best/cheapest price elsewhere, but when you need help or if something goes wrong the support might not be readily available! If you're in the UK, talk to the guys at Edward Mathias. Footage & Edit by Jonny Jones.
