Headlines: Indonesia Yacht Show’s headliner, Superyacht ‘A’ has had a busy summer, gopro on a shark, an oldie video that is still awesome to watch & the iguana 29 It’s August 26th and this is Morgane with your daily marine news 1. This year’s Indonesia Yacht Show was extremely successful for Gulf Craft, as they showcased their new and beautiful Majesty 105 yacht at the Batavia Sunda Kelapa Marina in Jakarta. Gulf Craft yachts provide their owners with an unrivaled yachting experience at sea, complementing the spectacular waterfront scenery of the country. 2. 119m superyacht “A” has been very busy over this summer off the eastern coast of Italy. The latest location? Off the prestigious Amalfi caost near Positano. The yacht was completed by Blohm & Voss in 2008 and the design was made by Philippe Starck. This is one of the most popular yachts for its futuristic styling and sharp reverse bow. Check out the pictures taken by Mattia Ruocco. 3. This video is the perfect example of the advantage GoPro’s have. This brave guy attached the camera to a hammerhead shark’s head, showing us how life looks like for this amazing animal. Check out the video up on Boat Show Avenue. 4. The “IGUANA 29” is the first open boat designed by IGUANA YACHTS. Both marine and terrestrial, the concept is based on the complete integration of caterpillars in the sides of the hull without altering the aesthetics, performance and seaworthiness of the boat. The Iguana 29 is able to get out and into the water on its own. With its tracks, the earthly engine 40 horsepower and optimized ground pressure, it is able to move easily over all types of terrain.
