kiddy1992 - yes, the draft is the depth of the hull below the designed waterline.

So many nice boats. if i had the time i would try to build a tug for my scouting group. Problem is: we often go to places where its barely 3 or 4 feet deep :/. So the tugs on the site can't go there. And sadly the dutch formalities are way to unclear to determin if i can alter a cruiser to a tug. Unless i'm dumb and "draft" means the part thats under water. And i still wonder if i cant move the point to which you tie the tugging rope needs to be from where it usually is.

Man I really want to go! It's crazy how I've never met any of the folks, but I recognize so many of the faces and boats from the forum! Makes me feel like I'm missing out!

Join us for our yearly Gathering of Boatbuilders. At this event you'll see a lot of wooden boats built using Glen-L boat plans. These boatbuilders are not professionals, they are amateur boat builders and just regular folks that like woodworking. See the Glen-L dot com website for details.
