As a flight school, do you guys think that the simulator program X-plane is beneficial to the training of a pilot?
I am about to begin flight training again here in Australia and am considering investing in a saitek pro simulator and using Vatsim to help me with procedures etc. However, the $7,000 I would use for it could go towards lessons.
Also, how would someone go about becoming a learjet pilot?
Cheers :D
Great video too! -
I've seen a small percentage of students complete the training program within a month or 5 weeks in my CFII days (most took months). But two weeks sounds very, very sketchy. This would require flying several hours a day, which is just plain not productive. There is only so much one can absorb in a day. After too instruction in one day, the student just stops learning and becomes a passenger really.

is this doable for Dutch (European) people as well?

I have a question about your accelerated program. Is this done in the sport cruiser or can it be completed in Cessna 172? I ask because I saw on your web-site that you have both type of aircraft. Also will the cost be the same to complete the flight training in either Sport cruiser or Cessna 172? Thanks Felix

Good on you and your company. You just ignore some negative peopled always trying to find fault with everything. ww2 German pilots went into combat with 110 hours training and some Russian ace pilots only 80 hours and fighter pilots have far more to contend with than an sport pilot. I personally think the normal training is too long and boring. this is the way my children will be going

Also if you don't mind,
1. Can you make a video of where to take the FAA Written Test?
2.Where can I get my Student Pilot Certificate? Is it after the FAA Written Test?
3.For the FAA Medical, can it be any clinic? For drivers license, can it be a license outside of Texas, like Colorado? Or is this program only offered to Texans?
The Passport I have.
4. I noticed in one of the comments you mentioned the price being $9,500. Does this include the plane rental, the 1 on 1 instructor on air flight, and the class?
I just feel like your program is really good and fun. -
what happens if you crash?..Is that a definite fail?.
-
How much will this class cost? Would be great if you could reply
-
How much does it cost for this program?
-
I have the time but I don't have the money lol
-
I can remember having mental fatigue after just a 90 minute lesson. I wonder how much the student pilot would remember after a 8 hour lesson.
-
im 15 when can I get a pilot certificate license. Im eager to know!
