Does john c Reilly's character seem afraid of the butcher in this scene? Both men are accomplished brawlers and killers.
-
Daniel Lewis scared the crap out of me in this role. Amazing actor
-
DDL was crazy good in this movie. Probably one of the best movie characters of all time.
-
I kinda wanna see Sherlock Holmes vs The Butcher. Or Batman vs The Butcher. Seriously, just ... put him in every movie ever, I don't care.
-
Awesome performance makes this film !!!
-
is that a hell's kitchen accent?
-
Daniel Day Lewis conveys menace better than any actor I've ever seen
-
Daniel Day Lewis is intense!
-
Daniel Day Lewis is spectacular in this film. he steals every. freaking. scene. he is the best actor out there along with a handful of others. no one else would have played the Butcher to perfection. he should have won Oscar gold for this one
-
it reminds me of the interrogation scene from the dark knight.
just imagine DDL as the Joker -
He should've put his balls on the dudes drumset
-
I wonder even tonight if anyone realizes . Daniel Day Lewis gave the greatest performance of his life . Sheer guts and brilliance.
-
Bill's reaction to "I'm paid to uphold the law" is just brilliant. You could feel the character seething, he wants to reach out and tear Jack limb from limb but finds restraint instead and says, "WTF..." instead. His expressions!! A rather violent man in a violent profession myself, I've been there many times! lol
-
The best acting I've seen
-
Had they casted DDL as the JOKER in the Dark Knight Heath would still be alive and the Joker would have come back in RISES This guy can play ANYTHING Good, Bad, Tough, etc DDL redefines acting Every actor/actress could learn something from BECOMING a character
-
none of your little minions lmao
