How do i get one of these? I'm sure it's gotta be a hell of a lot cheaper than a Mafell.
-
One more thing....anybody who is really interested in woodwork, timber framing and so on...check out the webpage of mafell.de....Awesome tools
-
WTF.....every European Timber Framer gets a good laugh out of this one..you.stupid stick framers!!!!
-
man I could've cut a pattern ,laid all them out flat then marked them then cut them with a skill saw before you were through with that set up for the ridge cut .guaranteed
-
Way too much work just use a circular saw and bang them out. A good carpenter can cut them quick. The ridge cut isn't critical where it has to be dead on accurate. What is most important is the seat cut on the birdmouth that it sits perfectly flat on the plate.

Time wasting asshats.
-
Lot of fucking around and setting up for what could of been done with a skill saw individually , and less chance of loosing a leg !
-
What model chainsaw did you use?
-
wow.

I agree with this guy.... Nice try boys, but the skill saw was made for a reason. Plus you'll cut your foot off soon. I'd prefer to be safe.... SKILLSAW
-
2 hours later your finally cutting the rafters and it only takes 2 guys slow down boys you dont want to work yourself out of a job
-
very bad idea they spend to much time.
-
For those who were wondering, i believe this adapter is made by Big Foot Tools
-
It's a good ,the chainsaw did not kick back
-
Timberrrrrr
-
Pretty neat... Not sure it speeds things up but pretty cool non the less... And who's the goon who said only one side of a chainsaw cuts... Lol
-
from a safety point of view...would it not be better to start the cut from the other side of the first gang shown?....if the blade jams for any reason you would think it would shoot upward with some potentially dire consequences!

This is a very poorly made set of clips to show gang cutting ;-)
