Just a quick pattern flight at Whiteman Airport, CA with the new Czech SportCruiser Light Sport Aircraft from WSSimulations. OKOK I forgot to turn on the fuel pump among other things!! ... I intentionally killed the engine to show it's glide landing capability. Overall very nice plane, considering it is on sale for Thanksgiving for just over 6 dollars! Normally ~$20, and it is probably in the $20 category as far as quality. Pros: Nice clear gauges, easily visible from 0.50 zoom-no complaints. Full 3D cockpit knobs. Reflections on gauges move with aircraft attitude, very nice. Decent Rotax engine sound unique to this addon but has some little gurgle-hickup sound in the loop, but that adds to the "realism". Very nice outer textures, especially the blue livery. Liveries are realistic based on CZAW website images. Flight dynamics: really feels like this thing is an LSA (very light and wobbly feel to it when low speed) yet easy to fly all the same. Full flaps slow this thing down in a hurry. Cons: Flap sounds are very faint--easily fixed with a sound editor. Textures are quite large (5 MB per texture with 10 textures per livery at least) and don't load very fast...as you can see in the video when I switch views--and I have a modern processor. I flew this at Whiteman since it bogs my system down, and it was still decent FPS, but the texture size will probably crash my memory for a longer flight. Also, the pilot has a lame haircut ;) Finally, Czech aircraft (both CZAW and Evektor) are aluminum built, none of this composite glued together nonsense! I'm happy with this purchase, I recommend for your slow low-wing LSA needs ;) I'll upload a night flight later to show the dash lights. Edit: Dash lights are pretty bad, but when do you ever fly a LSA at night??? LOL.
