Frozen Norfolk Broads boating during the winter in early December of 2016. This Sailing High Seas episode was filmed on Sutton Broad on the North Norfolk Broads on the the River Ant. The river had frozen in total from one end to the other. This is the joy of living on a boat all year through including the cold winter but with my trusted wood burner stove, the ice and cold weather is not problem.Winter boating is not a problem at all apart from moving the boat through frozen water.Being a liveaboard on a sailboat is simple living in a tiny home.You can be a nomad whilst living off grid in alternative housing whilst enjoying the good boat life. The boat is a Bruce Roberts 27 sloop.
