This Captain was not paying attention at all. You can first reasonably spot this wave at 1:59, a full 28 seconds before it hits.

No wonder people get ' lost at sea '. Even with PFD's, these two idiots should never have been out on the bow. Trying to rescue them from the water with a ship that size would have been very difficult.
