+weightlifter81jp1 I am a bit puzzled, my Knoebels history book (Knoebels An Amusement Park With A Heart) which dates back to 2001 and goes into in depth detail, has no reference in regards to that purchase. However knowing Knoebels they nine times out of ten probably purchased additional boats in 1987/88 when they purchased the Antique Cars from Rocky Glen. They have a niche for going to closing parks and buying up the inventory!! So, on that note its probably correct. Knoebels officially put in the bumper boats in 1982. I would say we are BOTH correct in that regard. :)
