This little boat was found 9 months later, in Bermuda with the cell phone inside...how is that possible if this boat is upside down?...someone is holding these little boys..the FBI should get involved.
-
That's probably never going to end well for the boy's even if they did somehow survive the first initial hours(which is unlikely because of hyperthermia) in the water, not to mention current of the water and shark's!

their dead

JAWS

Ya'll gotta be so negative nobody knows if their dead or alive so how about we should all stop assuming that their dead nobody knows that only God knows ! They could be on an island who knows ! But stop being so damn negative and saying their dead be positive ! And about sharks eating people isn't true! My dad is a marine Biologist and we've swam with shark , they'll bite you but most likely they'll mistake people to seals they don't like the taste of people just to let you know. But yeah stop saying their dead we don't know that until we see it on the news !! Ya'll need to pray

The Burmuda triangle?

Parents should not be blamed for it wasn't their faults. They didn't know that these boys were headed for the Bahamas. They allow them only into the river to fish. And making these ignorant comments about the boys are no help either. Have a heart and say a prayer for these two boys. Imagine this being your child/children, how would seeing all these horrible comments make you feel?
-
These kids are fucked.

That audio feedback sounded worse than the mic at the McDonald drive through.

I'm not trying to be negative and I keep refreshing Twitter every five seconds hoping for a miracle, but ugh lets be real 😢 it's a bit too late. And they didn't have a boat, hopefully they doing land because if not
-
I pray that they find them. But, I'm not trying to be negative, there's no way their still alive, after their boat is up side down, and ocean currents are way too strong.
-
I hope they are found soon. I don't think the water is cold, so they can survive for a while until they are rescued.

They say 19 ft- but it looks like a 20ft SeaCraft- unique hull. The 23fts were well designed. I had a '78 23- amazing boat. The 20s were/are poorly designed .. and called "sink craft" coz the transom sits low and if a wave goes over the stern... the boat takes on water rapidly. However, this boat is overturned. Does anyone know if the boat was damaged? They could have flipped but maybe the boat was pushed over later after the incident. If it flipped... often what happens in boating accidents is that people get knocked unconscious and drown (incident off Coconut Grove New Years). If they knew the ocean so well- any open motor boat in heavy seas is v. risky. With the severe weather warning...I sail a 22 ft boat offshore - but it is enclosed with a heavy keel. I've been in a knock/blow down several times and it rights itself and ALSO keeps towards the wind. Opposite for motor boats if they lose power. Every time there is a small craft warning on weekends- the Coast Guard- Sector KW lights up with "...boat taking on water family..blah blah". Often 3+ reports/day on SCA days. All are power.

Child neglect. I saw this on the news and almost immediately started dying of laughter.
When a story surfaces, news stations have the power to influence how the situation is perceived by the masses. Though their perspective isn't accepted by everyone, it IS accepted by the majority. This story SHOULD have been introduced COMPLETELY different. When any child is found alone and unsupervised the first thing that's thought by any logical people is "Where are the parents?". These parents should be handled equally as those parents that have abandoned their children in a dumpster somewhere on the other side of town.
Half way through this whole thing I started to think about how differently this would have been portrayed if it was Mexican or African parents that had allowed their underage young to carelessly choose to engage in idiotic activity. Would the news STILL have made it as heart warming as a Hollywood movie about a character that's lost and is trying to make it back home?
...for all the trolls out there, let me hysterically laugh along with you now for your comments about how this wouldn't happen to an African or Mexican family because "they're so poor they can barely afford a boat made out of paper". -
Lol the guy controling the camera was eating a sandwich or somthing cuase he kepts leting go of the joystick and the camera kept panning off

I was out on the ocean, at this age with the following boats:
22 foot mako
19 foot stury
16 foot baja.
I had close calls, and almost got stuck. the following has happened:
Anchor rope wrapped around lowerunit, boat flipped around, took waves into stern. Had to jump in and cut the line, boat almost floated away.
Took green water over the bow, due to exterme wake. filled so much that if power was lost, would have sunk. Forward motion saved me as the water drained out.
Took wave sideways and almost flipped
Fell over - sneakers kicked out slippery floor while leaning over.
since the boat was flipped, I say a wave hit the boat, knocked the kids out, they could not get back to boat. -
For all the clueless morons critizing the parents...
Nick Korniloff, Perry's stepfather, said both boys were experienced boaters and fishermen. He said the family had rules about where Perry could take a boat without adult supervision.
"We requested when he was out in the water, that he fish the river and Intracoastal (Waterway)," he said Monday on "New Day" "He could go as far as the rocks and inlet."
Perry was told not to go into the ocean unless he was in a bigger boat and had an adult with him, Korniloff said. -
I think it's obvious the boys were in the middle of a Sharknado
-
If any and all who care to would please pray for the families of these boys-they really don't have a need for judgement and condemnation at this point, in fact, it is useless. They simply need all the peace and comfort we can possibly send their way. Be with them Lord, in all your tender mercy, Amen.

I do not care how good of parents they are, letting 14 year olds take a boat out on the ocean? Really? That is Child Endangerment, and Neglect, PERIOD! They both should be charged, and any other kids they have, taken from them for safety reasons.
