Assuming the entire system runs from a central CPU on it's own power supply. Could you show a little more about that and how power switching works during startup & shore power disconnect? Last ship I worked on had very similar system in 1985 using ASEA engine monitoring & control but lacked the environmental instrumentation. Very nice setup.

And all it needs is one lightning strike and poof . On the water it is not if , it is when.

The instrumentation is an engineer's dream...it's a gorgeous demonstration of form follow function. Who WOULDN'T want such a complete and robust system? So impressive!
