Fleetwood trawler Jacinta comes home

We, a group of 8, visited Jacinta in Fleetwood on the 23rd of Dec. 2016.
It was very enlightening. They who showed us around were very knowledgeable.
I did one tour on an Icelandic sidewinder in Jan. during 'cod war' 1972. What a memory.

Hi i think my uncle David Morely helped restore the Jacinta

Dear Sarah, it would have been early 70s if your grandfather was on the present Jacinta as it built in 1972. Perhaps he was on FD 21Jacinta which was scrapped in 1971. Have a good Christmas and thanks for comment.

My grandad sailed on this trawler late 60s, nice to be able to see the ships from his stories. RIP grandad xx
