Awesome episode. It must have been really cool to commiserate with Mark & Travis like that. Those are the times that create the fabric of the sailing community.

Loved the dancing lesson. very cute. Good on you for beeping out the F word. Enjoyed the talk about the mishaps of sailing, something all sailors know.

I have been watching your videos for about 3 weeks and I find your story to be mesmerizing and so compelling. You both have a remarkable talent for making films about your life together in the most extreme environment on earth. Beautiful filming, hypnotic music, exciting stories, all presented in a perfectly humanistic cocktail of joy. Your story is fascinating. You complement each other perfectly, and I must say that if you were not together, your story would be lacking something profound. At the age of 70, I find myself humbly appreciative of the moments of happiness you have given me. Please sail onward and continue to share your lives with us. Thank you. -Craig

If it's just you and Riley sailing at night, and one of you is sleeping while the other is on the deck for the night shift, what happens if the person on the deck gets swept off and into the water during rough seas? Do you guys have some kind of emergency procedure or some type of alarm to wake the person sleeping so they know they have to stop the boat and save the person in the water? Just curious. I love watching your videos and I want you guys to be as safe as possible. <3
Buy a hat here! http://shop-lavagabonde.com/collections/head-gear Join us in a traditional cooking lesson with Henry on the island of Nuku Hiva. Very simple, super delicious. Nothing beats eating from the earth. Cheers Henry, I hope you see this video! I know you don’t know what the internet is, but if you have kept my written instructions on that napkin then we will have no problems!! We also introduce you to fellow Aussie lose ends Mark and Travis who have also jumped in the deep end with the whole sailing thing. There first overnight sail was that of the Pacific Crossing…….
