Thanks for your help.

Useful conclusion.

you also have to consider that V bottoms tend to be wider than flat bottoms. I have a 14' Richline Semi V Bottom but I haven't put it on the water yet but I've also heard good things about them
-
flat bottom boats are the way to go,I'm getting ready to buy another one14',we already have a small 8 foot ,but it's just to small.

You just put the nail in the coffin for my decision. Thank you!

I like a flat hull profile. I usually nose onto a bank and fish off the stern so the dog can scout around in the bush. He doesn't care that much about fishing. He doesn't have the patience for it. The flat's a whole lot easier to drive up and push off. It doesn't teeter or wedge in the mud like a v hull either.

Is that the same 36 inch wide boat you had on earlier videos? Looks wider than 36 inches for some reason in this video.

THanks for the info homie, I am about to get a 14 jon

Great soundtrack. Who is the music artist at the end, starting at 2:21?

Below is a pros and cons list of flat bottom Jon boats and v hull bottom Jon boats. Recommend hull type depends on the body of water you are fishing and size of your boat. Thanks for Watching and Good Luck Fishing! Flat bottom Boats: 1. Much more stable for smaller boat sizes (12-14') 2. Better in shallow water V Hull Boats: 1. Better in large bodies of water with wind and boat traffic creating waves. 2.Faster speed as cuts through water better 3. Less stable, harder to move around inside boat 4. 16+ v hull boats however become large enough that stability becomes less significant and therefore I would recommend v bottom boats if you're getting a boat 16' or larger unless planning on doing shallow water fishing.
