-
The best thing was your super sharp knife =)
-
hey will you you send me one to PO box 621 74446 Okay Oklahoma
-
i dont get it. a spinning toy, with anything i can put around a bearing, for people with too much time. I DONT GET IT!!! where comes this hype from and why do i get this as a recommendation? i mean as an rc modellist, the only thing i can understand, is the creation of this, but why watching and copying? i mean this is still a tutorial. somehow...
-
do you have to use that type of chain or can you use others
-
Brilliant idea. Good way to save money and have fun. Cool!
-
Just ordered those 13t sprockets. Will be buying 1/2 x 1/8 half link chain later to see how it goes.
-
My sprockets circle im gonna try thicker rubber i used some wd-40 on it to clean it out but ill clean it out more and replace current rubber i used peices of rubber bands
-
Is there a reason its so off should i try more rubber bands to make the chain more fit
-
I made one and the chain is loose now i put four rubber bands peices in exact places you did but the chain seems off and made the spin uneven and only spins for 40 seconds compared to 1 min 45

This is by far, the best spinner I've seen, and I've been obsessed over them, lately. I'd love to make one, but I'd end up with tools and bike parts throughout the house, and no spinner to show for it. But I love the clear seethrough feature. None other has this, and the chain adds to it.
-
You can also get a cheap chain removal tool. I used to have one... I think I paid about $10 for it.
-
Make more videos!! :D
I just ordered 20 ball bearings, hope they arrive soon! I so want to make some :D -
Could you just use a Chain Master Link instead of filing down all of those?
-
Hey man just wanted to ask a question, you said that the making process was harder because it was 13t right ? Will an 11t work better or should it be an even number ?
-
It took so much aqueeze power out it's DONE sadly mine is a machined bearing not a ceramic STILL WORKS AMAZING pin is through thank you so much absolutely awesome
-
Ok well I almost have it now but the pin won't go through to save my life I used a different sprocket it is great if I can get the pin through lol
-
Ok I tryed making a 11 failed miserably lol I would love to just buy one of yours hahahahahaha I tried and failed lol
-
what kind of spin time do you get with your spinner?
UPDATE: I have bought an even numbered sprocket that has 10 teeth instead of 13 teeth like the one in this video. It should make this process much easier and if It works well I will make an updated video with the even toothed sprocket. This should eliminated the entire filing process. I will keep you guys up to date. Just know that this is an instructional video. Not a blog. Therefor it will be mostly boring because making spinners generally isn't that exciting. Skip to the end if you want to see all the different spinners I've made and the result of the video. TOOL LIST: -Hammer -File for metal or a Dremel -Scissors -knife -Metal post or a chain breaker -Pliers MATERIALS (for the exact spinner in the video): -Super glue -Piece of thin Rubber (I used a piece of a bicycle tire inner tube) -Jockey wheel/sprocket from a bicycle derailleur with bearing -Scotch tape -3/32 bike chain ---Here is the link for the particular sprocket I used in the video: http://www.ebay.com/itm/371772555405?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&var=640746786734&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT ---Here is a link to the exact chain I used in the video: http://www.ebay.com/itm/KMC-Z50-5-6-7-Speed-Bike-Chain-116L-1-2-x-3-32-Bicycle-Road-MTB-Cruiser-21-18-/221630573279?hash=item339a362adf:g:jGEAAOSwFTRTrDye -If you guys want me to make another instructional video on another spinner let me know in the comments. Also if you have any ideas yourself share your creative wisdom. Keep in mind that this is the first video I've made where I talk the majority of the time. I realize that I have a lot to learn as a youtube creator. KEEP CALM AND SPIN ON
