I'm so very excited. I ordered on. I got it at an amazing discount. The one thing that I will say about the fiskar arms is they don't pull out properly. it's like they don't want to pull out all the way. Thanks for the review.

Hi Tracy...thank you for sharing. Ive been having major issues with my old trimmer trying to cut squares for a mini album. Which as you know if its not square it sticks out like a sore thumb! Ive been thinking about trying a new trimmer and seeing your video has made my mind up. I have a cutterpillar crop on order now xx

Do you have any problems with it cutting straight. I have some issues with my Cutterpillar Pro cutting straight

emailing this to Hubs as a BIG hint for my Birthday... lol

Hi Tracy! I have the Cutterpillar Pro love it! If I had known that they were coming out with a smaller version, I would have waited for it though. It does have a learning curve as well. I wasn't getting straight cuts so I watched their video for tips and realized that I wasn't sliding the blade right along the edge sometimes. Now I love it. Please keep us updated on how you like it. Take care, Kim :)

I have the Cutterpillar Crop and the big one. Love them both!

Tracy, thanks for your reply. It's good to know they have made that improvement. I purchased it on line and it wasn't obvious that there were no 1/4" lines. Meanwhile, this cutter cuts great, but continues to frustrate me!

I think I just found my next big scrappy purchase! I bought one of the fiskars rotary ones like you are currently using and had such a hard time with lining things up that I returned it. I would love to hear an update on how often you reach for this and how useful you find it. Lining things up and getting a straight shot especially when I am not cutting my size is the hardest part for me in my search for the perfect paper trimmer.

The thing I don't like about my pro is that the grid on it is marked off in 1/2" squares. I don't think it is unusual to want to measure at the quarter inc mark. This one looks like it might have 1/4" marks. Does it? TIA!

Thanks for sharing! It looks like a great trimmer. I have to say you are the boss, cutting paper in the dark! 😄

oh the never ending hunt for the perfect trimmer... lol.. The Making Memories Cutter, The Cutterpede, The Fiskars Euro, Premium Portable, The Dahle... They all have great qualities and drawbacks.. I hope this one works well for you. :-)
