it's funny someone commented about infallibility I have to say building a yacht isn't like paining a picture or answering a question wrong on a test. northern marine had a launch fail and most people go it's just a mistake. but for 18 months dozens of naval architects check and recheck the viability of a hull design and every single item that goes into that boat is supposed to be weighed and classed. we are talking about a fuckup that went unchecked for 18 months then when an engineer brought the problems up with the safety of the vessel he was fired. this was a blaten disregard for safety. and the owners should have been charged with attempted murder. because even if it hadn't flipped during launch they would hav3 delivered an unstable boat to some poor bastard that likely would have died because of it. kindly remove your head from your ads before defending such despicable acts of greed and deception .

Not really megayachts...

Just because you can doesn't mean you should...sometimes more is just too damn much. It seems the bigger and more expensive these boats are is the more bizarre the taste of the owners.

Yes .. but the Status Quo is 150.1 ft.

It wasn't just a botched launch, but wrong weights and ballasts when they launched it..
Northern marine is gone, from what I know they are in receivership. -

Northern Marine? Isn't that 90 footer the one that capsized on launch? Granted, Northern Marine builds high end GRP boats but you gotta question what's going on when they botch a launch like that.
