The Stars and Stripes Catamaran was much larger. It was 60' long and 30' wide.

This is the real 40 ft catamaran used in 1988 for training to the Americas cup. The one with the wing sailed the accusal cup. My brother is steering the boat in the clip.

There were two stars and stripes, one with a wing and one without. The one useing the wing had higher performance so was selected to sail in the cup.I'm not saying that this is one of the originals but it could be
