Yes I'm familiar with this story. This was the good ship snowflake. They attempt to dissuade the Pirates by hurling cotton candy and well wishes at them. Surprisingly this had no effect on them. The crew was then ordered to their safe-space where they proceeded to text sad face emojis âšī¸ to their loved ones. The Pirates escaped with the ships entire bounty, which consisted of the entire first season of the Rachel Maddow show, Pussy-Hats, and six metric tons of "triggered feelings".

This is live footage from the first ever attack by Somalian pirates against a cruise ship - Seabourn Spirit in November 2005. A video that the Carnival corporation will not be happy to see available to the public, cause this ship should have been more than 200 nautical miles off the coast rather than the 68 nautical miles the company chose to sail against all maritime warnings.
