My wife and I love your videos! We took a 7 day course on a 46' Leopard last summer in Ft Myers. It was a Moorings School. We lived on board with the instructor. We took the course so we could go to the bvi's and rent a cat. Without hiring a captain. We hope to do it Feb. 2017. Where did you like to go in the bvi's?

Sound? UNBELIEVABLE

Next time leaving North Sound for SXM try leaving before dark so you can get out of Oil Nut Bay cut in daylight, sail overnight to arrive SXM in morning daylight. Easy peasy. Depending on the time of year, wait for a north component wind so you can sail.

It looked like light winds and great conditions, why didn't you sail?

Hi!! Chapter 13 (Bad Luck number?)says that has been block by the Country... Saint Barths?? Nice videos in the Caribbean.. Thanks
-
The ships get close, just when you put on women's clothing. Lol. Great timing.

Thank you for your reply. I am not trying to be too Critical, though interested in "learning by observing!" Though as you can see from the video, how it looked. Still even in a harbor, I guess the question has to be, "how far can you swim?" Thank you again for your very informative contributions to my marine education, cheers.

Randy & Lennie,
More great video's of your passages. A couple things:
1. I noticed you had a handheld radio when clearing customs. Do you have a second one? Only thought that when Lennie is on the bow at night while making maneuvers....might help if she had a second one clipped to her harness to talk back to you..instead of you yelling forward.
2. Since you both like to scuba dive (I am certified myself), have you thought of trying spearfishing? Might have better luck that the rod :)
Would you mind talking more about your compressor setup to fill your tanks on-board? When I was going through my certification, I asked about having my own setup. The dive shop said you needed LOTS of special dryers and things to make sure th air was right going into the tanks. Kinda scared me off.
See you guys in 4-5 years :) -
ALTHOUGH I AM A NON SAILOR, HOWEVER AS AN EXPERIENCED COMMERCIAL PILOT, IN EPISODE 12, AT "13 MINUTES , 47 SECONDS, " THE 2 OF YOU AT THE STARBOARD STERN OUTER RAILING AND NEITHER OF YOU WITH A LIFE LINE ON!! MY INSTRUCTORS WOULD SHOOT ME IF I MADE A MISTAKE LIKE THAT. I AM ENJOYING YOUR SERIES, BUT PLEASE STAY SAFE!!

WOW...Great videos so far...Fun and info packed....but I need the next fix...I'm jonesing here....curious if you know what KW you need to run the boat...Frig's, Freezer, A/C, electronics etc and what percentage your solar would take care of while tied up ...know its a hard one...so many variables....and also your diesel...mpg....are you running both when cruising or just a single side...rpm's around 2000..????And...your Highfield dingy.... is it a dl 350 or like a 390???? Ya'll both rock...such great knowledge ...keep em coming....My wife and are excited by the prospect of joining the Leopard family...thanks for your time and consideration....

Your videos always contain some great, older songs. Are you using the KVH system for Internet service. How is the coverage and do you have any issues with using it in some countries?

We appreciate the customs clearance procedures and issues from various countries - along with any recommendations, from your experience. All tips are very insightful.
