Wouldn't 6Gs kill you?
OK so I did some research, apparently an untrained human can tolerate 6G for 10 minutes.
It just sounds painful. -
Actually vertical thrusters work on this planet...You were just to close to your ship, thats why they didnt work.
-
"verticle thrusters doesnt work" you moron, you were too close to your ship -.
-
did it in my python. had no problems landing, ship hovered fine. it is like flying a brick though...just touching the sticks down causes the ship to plummet. auto pilot took its time landing but no problems.
-
i really wish i had imperial cutter cuz it looks so good, damn problem is its difficult to get and it costs alot and pilot seat is on right side in cockpit
-
Such a beautyful ship and so superb cockpits for the perfect Star Trek Flair - too bad that this is some online game and not a normal fine videogame :(
-
You make the same mistake Obsidian Ant made. Gliding down vertically as if there was an atmosphere.
-
i did this in my fer de lance, went way too fast and i crashed and burned, was fun tho
-
I've been playing ED for a while now... HOW DO YOU DO THE EXTERNAL CAMERA??
-
-
What happens if you go to that planet and turn off your thrusters/flight assist?
-
what kind of minerals and metals can you find on that planet?
-
Haha XD the autopilot lands the Cutter on its belly and then deploys the landing gear - oh well, still better than landing on top of the player. My ship always lands in some canyon, a kilometer away, even if i recall it on an open plane. Slightly annoying - but now that I have a comparison, having the ship land a kilometer away is better than being pancaked by my own ship.
-
It's freakin' creepy when you boost with your nose up 45°, boost again but you're still losing altitude.
-
I managed to find a planet in a random system that was 6.75 g and I landed in my cobra mkIII. It is still difficult
-
this game needs base building. would be so cool to setup a little outpost to store your ships and walk around in.
-
FA on :P
Love the hot landing though, I'll have to keep that in mind when I give it a go. -
Your guy would have to have an amazing g suit on lol hickkkkk

Jerome W asked me to land on Achenar 3 which has 6,7 G gravity! So here we go ;) I had 3 attempts to land there and you can view them all here in new Exploring Horizons episode :) (c) Frontier
