I want to cut into the side of a bench vise and thread a holding screw so the vise doesn't spin.

What brand and where did you pick up the cutting lubricant? I have a diy project in mind that would require cutting a 4" hole into the bottom of a cast iron pot. I don't want the pot to break as I cut out the hole. Would a drill bit like this work or would plasma be a better choice in cutting out the hole?

What are you using to hold the annular cutter in the hand drill? Will it fit the Jet broach cutters? Thanks

Awesome! I've been looking for a demo on this very thing! I have a sink drain I need to tie into a cast iron sewer line and cutting into it is my only option. Thanks for sharing Wayne!

What are you using to hold the annular cutter on the standard 1/2 drill.

Hello Wayne. Good video.
A question for you or anyone reading this: Someone gave me four 20kg weight plates (they are cast iron and about 1.5 inches thick) they only have a standard (30mm) barbell hole.
I want to make the hole 50mm (Olympic size).
I was going to make a template (so it is accurately centered) and drill around in a circle with a cobalt drill bit.
Is this a good idea (will the drill bit last multiple holes), should I use cobalt, or should I pay someone to plasma cut them?
If you answer this I will Subscribe. Cheers :)
