Delos Tribe! This is the first video of the Indian Ocean 2.0 season! It's our first go of mixing different editing techniques with our traditional story line. I think Kazza did a great job. If you like it or not be sure to let us know. Hope you enjoy and wishing you a hell of a weekend :) Capt. Breeyawn

The new crew is fantastic. It spices up Delos and it it seems they fit right in. I love the new editing. It punctuates your experiences on board and makes my heart swell up. Thanks for sharing with the world! Love from Kostas in Greece.

Excellent editing! Great crew!
-
Nice editing, however in some parts seems more an advertisement than not the Delos adventures we are use to see. This make the ensemble more anonymous especially when there are many photograms of details and music on. I would go back to the old editing stile but using the better cameras u have now.

Oh, I know a lot of ways to entertain myself... :D
-
In Cape Town for over a year. Was this funded entirely by Patreon "Buy us a Beer"? No black folks in your South African crew. Or will they show up later?
-
Maybe it's the new, slick impersonal editing style. Maybe it's the new crew - they give off a trust fund-y, partying, Euro Trash-y vibe ("I look like a dirty Mexican" ???). Maybe it's a combination of both. But I just don't feel as connected to the whole Delos experience after watching this episode. I miss Frida, Max, Babs, Josje, and their genuineness. They have a wholesomeness of spirit that I missed in this episode. I'll keep watching to see if it gets better, but I'll just leave today saying don't mess too much with a good thing.

I don't like the new cinematic feel. You've lost the Delos charm that we love. Please go back to that
-
You should post these on the history channel, that's when they occurred.
-
the video is getting better, luv it
-
great stuff... can you tell me what are tunes used in vid called please. thx

The part where the women are sailing the boat in the middle of the night and the men are all curled up together asleep below deck, soooo sweet and funny!
-
Will you guys be doing another contest to sail with you? I would love to join your crew for a few months. Thanks!

Amazing quality filming, you guys and gals just keep on upping your game, great job and the new crew seem awesome. I don't get how la vagabond has more subscribers for me you rule the sailing youtube world and deserve to be at the top. Dave UK

Nice production jump filled with a bunch of artsy videography... nice job!
-
This is clearly coming to an end now?... Give it up????
-
Thumbs up ! :-)

Looks like you guys are having fun with the editing and cool shooting techniques. I know more complex filmmaking can be fun, so go nuts. I am just amazed that you guys can quickly brush over something that looks amazing and would yield a full 20 min blog style video from some other channels. Bring us in on some of those excursions you guys did! its easy enough to pump out those videos, and they would help the channel too! Cheers, thanks for the video!

AAAAA shit im so jealous of u guys ! here im sitting on board the FSU Heidrun B. in the Norwegian sea on duty in the controllroom watching videos and dreaming about sailing around the world as u guys are doing.
I hope u will have a nice season this year and look fwd to see more of the great videos u are making.

check out : SAILING into FREEDOM...
Sailing from Cape Town to La Reunion is an off-the-beaten-track 3,000 NM route in some of the roughest waters on the planet. Delos is ready and our new crew has arrived! Time to head to the islands for the winter so we say goodbye to Cape Town and point the bow out into the grey, misty morning. First stop- La Reunion. This was definitely going to be one of our most intense passages ever! We start out with having to sail back around the most Southern tip of Africa, a gnarly stretch of water! But I love how you get to know our three new crew members and how they feel as we get forced into a small harbor to dodge a massive storm coming our way! an intense start to our passage for sure! Hope you enjoy this sailing adventure! Much love, Karin and the crew! Subscribe at http://youtube.com/svdelos This is our story, a story of three souls sailing around the world. It is a story about sailing and travel and adventure. But it's also a story about meeting amazing people and making life long friends. It's a story of people living their lives in an alternate way, in close connection with the beautiful people and amazing planet that we call home. Our experience has affected us so profoundly we want to share it, hoping that others may find inspiration to follow their dreams and do what they love. For more sailing around the World Action!
