looping the midship or spring line underneath itself is not the best idea, when they get wet especially nylon rope they can sometimes be a bear to remove. Just saying
-
wow no wind bow thruster its a joke or
-
Not impressed.
-
do it with some wind and tide have some balls piss week
-
bow thruster! Everyone can do that
-
I find it is a LOT more fun if you let your buddy drive, when he's piss-face drunk, and you secretly switch the transmission linkage so that she's stuck in reverse, no matter what you do with the lever.... Makes everyone so much more excited that way.
-
Not a lick of wind blowing. Do it again in 30 knots without thrusters.
-
Hair cut ?

Nice job. And how I would love a beautiful boat like that. I would live on it for the rest of my days, and never leave. hahaha...
True. ..I would. I'd go shopping and maybe hit a few bars now and again. But that's about it. I'd stay on my ship. -
Bow-thrusters make everyone a perfect captain!
-
Boy! Real tough with bow thrusters!
-
no wind guy . what a woosy
-
Respect, Ian!

Light condition bowthruster Hero - Easy showman
-
lol .. he is more talking the boat into the box instead of driving it.
I really would like to see how he does this with the bow first, like it's build everywhere else in the world. (expept in the mediteran sea) -
You make it look easy!

Calm down everyone. He never said something else than Docking a 57' Sailing Yacht single handed By: Ian Van Tuyl at IVT Yacht Sales in California. So that's what he did. There are always a bunch of assholes that say : ''Woa, too easy, I could do it with one finger.'' Great. You're all hot. Bravo. But who cares, that's not the point.
-
You should be able to do this without bow thrusters in these conditions. I am not impressed!
