Now let's flip it to if it was a man and the victim was a woman. The entire "If they were both intoxicated" there would be absolutely no question on if it was rape. Even if they gave non verbal or verbal consent they would be crucifying this person for rape. It's not equal in this situation

Answer: No. Because there's no such thing as 'rape'. There's violent sexual assault, which should always be punished with a lengthy jail sentence. But 'rape' is a 19th-century legal fiction clung on to by feminists for the purposes of imprisoning more men.

I reckon Annie Teriba feels ashamed for her conduct after being informed about it and that's why she's being vague on the exact details. At least she isn't trying to use a double standard for herself by stating that because she's a woman, it should be more unclear whether she is guilty or not. Whereas many of us know, if it were a male student admitting to vague acts of non-consensual sex and harassment, most of the students are likely to accept his apology and not try to clarify the details.

Young Turks, you really need to take a long, hard look at yourselves in this video. As many people here have stated, the only reason and I want to put a lot of emphasis on this THE ONLY REASON you are actually considering the "perpetrator's" possible innocence is because she is a women. This is sexist, plain and simple. Men on college campuses are right now, in 2015, being expelled and being charged with sexual assault and rape for the EXACT SAME THINGS. There are laws being enacted in the U.S. right now that explicitly say that it is rape IF THE FEMALE involved was drunk.
If you, as journalists, can not see the problem with this or can not make a clear cut statement on the fact that this woman raped someone (under the current iteration of rape laws) then it is time for you to resign. You no longer belong in this line of work. Because you can not uphold an objective truth nor an agenda. -
If a female victim comes forward and says she has changed her mind about giving non verbal consent to her male partner, I wonder if Cenk would say she can't do that. If it was a guy I bet he would have been called a rapist and even get kicked out of the school. Feminists are so obsessed with rape! There is no rape culture on college campuses, or even in America.
