DIY Cheap $60 Plywood Jon Boat!

Here's a few tips for constructing boats:
Give yourself plenty time.
take advantage of ready made boat blueprints.
(I read about these and more from Denelle Boat Builder website )

I'm going to make the same boat, only I'm gunna use the full 4ft wide 4x8 to do the build. Nice build and happy fishing!

how did you tie the two parts of plywood together on the bottom . can you use expansion gorilla glue . thk you and thank you for the video.

how thick plywood did you use?

I am making a Jon boat for this summer fishing.. I just got all the wood I need, I put a blue print together in my head from looking at what everyone else has done"  The boat will be about 12 foot long 4 feet wide. I just got the wood for it for 230 dollars at Home depot and I Got 18 once bottle of Gorilla original glue for 19 dollars on amazon, I'm getting 8 pounds of amazing goop coat it Epoxy for 60 dollars off amazon also. I have not got the paint yet I don't know what color I want it till it is done . So I got about 310 bucks in the project I hope it works.. I build many things from swing sets to picnic tables and anything else my wife wants done.... but never a boat so kind of nervous on this build.

Fyi...front of a boat is called the bow (pronounced: bough) and the gunwales are pronounced: gunnels. Just thought you might like to know.

Wow. Really nice job you did there. Well thought out. I've been looking at boats and the prices are insane. Furthermore, they aren't well constructed for the prices they command. Maybe this is all I need.

i know in this world of toughguy anti christian mentality everyone is supposed to accept one's fowl language but not me. A good video ruined by gutter talk.
